Dr. Joachim Fuhrmann is a senior partner and the name giver of the partnership Fuhrmann Wallenfels Binder that was founded by him in 1959 and has been active as a supra-regional partnership since 1990. 

He studied in Marburg, Munich and Berlin. He served his legal clerkship in Berlin and did his doctorate on a subject from the field of private international law in Marburg. In 1967 already, Dr. Joachim Fuhrmann was appointed as notary public.  Therefore, he is a competent adviser in matters under real-property law, law of succession and company law.

He is a former member of the managing board of the Chamber of Lawyers of Berlin and was active as an associate judge of the Division for Notary Matters of the Court of Appeal from 1977 to 2003.
